On February 26, Chen Chengmin, Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of Sinochem Holdings, Chairman, Party Secretary, and President of Sinochem Energy, met with Wang Jianbo, Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation in petrochemicals, environmental science, and other fields.

Chen Chengmin expressed gratitude to CNOOC for its long-standing support of Sinochem’s business development. Chen noted the solid foundation of cooperation between the two companies in crude oil trade, oil product sales, industrial water treatment, seawater desalination, and other areas and expressed hope for further expansion of collaboration in crude oil supply, chemical product procurement and sales, storage coordination and sharing, environmental governance, and other fields to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Wang Jianbo reviewed the achievements of cooperation between the two companies in various fields. He stated that there is broad potential for future collaboration and expressed hope for deepening cooperation in resource supply, logistics and warehousing, overseas market expansion, and other areas. He also proposed establishing a regular communication mechanism to complement each other’s strengths and jointly promote high-quality development for both parties.
