Recently, rail-mounted intelligent explosion-proof inspection robots, jointly developed by enterprises including Sinochem Xingzhong Oil Staging and Sinochem Xinghai, have been put into operation at Tank Group 2 of the Phase VI expansion project in the storage facility of Sinochem Xingzhong Oil Staging.

Equipped with gas sensors, high-resolution cameras, infrared thermometers, and other components, these robots can accurately detect ambient temperature, gas concentration, smoke, and other environmental information. They are capable of conducting visual inspections on drainage ditches, valve conditions, flange surfaces, and more, enabling the timely identification and early warning of potential safety hazards such as “spills, leaks, drips, and emissions” in the oil storage area. Additionally, these robots can adapt to various complex terrains and harsh weather conditions, achieving round-the-clock, high-precision, and unmanned inspection patrols. This not only alleviates the labor burden on employees but also effectively expands the coverage of safety monitoring. Actual testing data indicate that these robots can significantly enhance inspection efficiency and quality, reduce labor and maintenance costs, and assist enterprises in improving their overall operational efficiency.
