On November 28, 2024, the online phase of the 2024 DataCon Big Data Security Analysis Competition officially concluded. A joint team, comprising the operation and maintenance security team from Sinochem Energy High-Tech and researchers from the Institute of Information Engineering, CAS, participated in the competition’s AI Security Track. After successfully navigating through a series of highly challenging and complex tasks, including adversarial sample attacks, model privacy protection, and data security, the team ultimately secured the third prize in the competition.

The competition was hosted by the Institute for Network Sciences and Cyberspace,  Tsinghua University, in partnership with QAX and other organizations. Co-organizers included the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the Tencent Security Response Center, among others. The event attracted numerous elite teams from the industry to compete.
