On January 26, 2024, Chen Chengmin, Vice President and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Sinochem Holdings, as well as Chairman, Party Secretary, and President of Sinochem Energy, met with a delegation led by He Xianzhuo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Dongying Municipal Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Dongying, in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation.

Chen thanked the CPC Dongying Municipal Committee and Dongying Municipal People’s Government for the longstanding support they provided to Sinochem Group. He noted that cooperation between the two sides was at a crucial stage and expressed his hope to strengthen communication, refine cooperation mechanisms, and jointly drive the economic development of Dongying.

He introduced Dongying’s efforts to support collaborative projects with the Sinochem Group. He stated that Dongying would deepen exchanges with Sinochem Group based on previous cooperation and actively support local enterprises, including Sinochem Group, to achieve sustainable development in Dongying.
