On January 23, 2024, Chen Chengmin, Vice President and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Sinochem Holdings, as well as Chairman, Party Secretary, and President of Sinochem Energy, met with a delegation led by Tian Dawen, Deputy Mayor of Daqing City, in Beijing. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening collaboration.

Chen expressed appreciation to Daqing Municipal People’s Government for its longstanding support and assistance rendered to Sinochem Group. He highlighted Daqing’s robust industrial foundation and unique geographical advantages, expressing his expectation to deepen exchanges and jointly drive high-quality development based on previous cooperation.

Tian provided an overview of Daqing’s economic development, business environment, and industrial chain. He noted that Daqing's industrial development strategy aligns closely with Sinochem Group’s business areas and expressed hope to deepen central-local government cooperation. He said that Daqing would fully support Sinochem Group’s industrial development and jointly write a new chapter on mutually beneficial collaboration.
