On September 29, 2023, Chen Chengmin, Vice President and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Sinochem Holdings, as well as Chairman, Party Secretary, and President of Sinochem Energy, visited the Jinyue Gas Station in Foshan operated by Sinochem Guangdong Co., Ltd., to conduct a safety inspection and extend festive greetings to frontline staff and managers.

After listening to the operational report of Sinochem Guangdong Co., Ltd., Chen conducted a comprehensive inspection of the operations, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management, as well as safety equipment and facilities at the gas station. He also outlined specific work requirements:

1. Attach great importance to work safety, prioritizing the lives and property safety of employees and the local community. Implement thorough HSE risk identification and assessment, enhance employees’ safe operation skills, conduct regular emergency drills, and pay close attention to risks during oil unloading to consolidate the foundation of work safety further.

2. Continuously enhance operational management capabilities by optimizing the layout of oil depots, conducting comprehensive market research and analysis, refining the selection of non-oil products, enhancing labor efficiency per capita, and fostering a stronger cost-conscious mindset.

3. Steadily advance asset-light businesses, with a particular focus on the management of franchised gas stations. Enhance fuel supply rates, keep strict control over oil quality, optimize supply chain logistics and related supporting services, and further enhance management and service output capabilities.

4. Seize opportunities to develop and operate new energy businesses in strict accordance with the "Five Unifications" standards.

5. Effectively enhance risk management and control by strengthening risk prevention awareness, closely monitoring key business areas and processes, ensuring strict compliance management, and preventing minor issues from escalating into major ones to build a robust “firewall” against risks and compliance violations.
