From September 8 to 11, 2023, the 3rd National Emergency Rescue Technical Competition for Safe Production of Hazardous Chemicals took place in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The Sinochem Zhoushan National Emergency Rescue Team for Hazardous Chemicals (hereinafter referred to as the “Sinochem Zhoushan Team”), affiliated with Sinochem Energy, dispatched 13 skilled and capable members to participate in the competition, ultimately securing the “Group Excellence Award,” while team member Yang Zhipeng was honored with the “Best Effort Award.”

Co-organized by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the People’s Government of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the competition brought together 518 participants from 37 teams of 30 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government), the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and relevant central SOEs nationwide. This marked the first time the Sinochem Zhoushan Team participated in a national technical competition. Throughout the event, team members consistently pushed beyond their limits and strived for excellence, demonstrating the “spirit and vitality” of Sinochem in the new era with their concrete actions.
