Recently, the QZP-10B black compound (a dedicated polyethylene pipe material) independently developed and produced by Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical’s HDPE unit successfully passed the PE100-grade pipe material certification from the National Test Center of Polymer and Building Materials. This marks that multiple key indicators of the product meet national standards, providing high-performance, reliable material support for the polyethylene (PE) pipe industry.

Polyethylene materials are internationally classified into five grades based on long-term hydrostatic strength (MRS). Among them, PE100 represents the highest grade, which demonstrates exceptional tensile yield strength, impact resistance, pressure tolerance, and slow crack growth resistance. It is the preferred material for municipal water/gas pipelines and industrial applications.

The PE100 certification of QZP-10B marks a significant breakthrough for Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical in technological innovation and the development of high-end new materials, demonstrating its leading position in the production of premium pipe materials.
