On August 4, 2025, a total of 27,000 tons of methanol imported by Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution was unloaded from the vessels “DING HENG 41” and “HAFNIA TANZANITE” with professional support from Sinochem Yangzhou and Sinochem Nantong, both of which are subsidiaries of Sinochem Energy Logistics. This marks significant progress in the implementation of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution’ methanol distribution strategy on the north bank of the Yangtze River and a key milestone in Sinochem Energy Logistics’ “stable oil supply and expanded chemical products” strategy.
Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution actively collaborated with storage enterprises under Sinochem Energy Logistics, including Sinochem Yangzhou and Sinochem Nantong, to optimize logistics coordination and port arrival plans, ensuring efficient unloading, storage, and distribution. Sinochem Energy Logistics’ professional terminal and storage facilities provided a robust operational platform and capacity for Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution to expand international trade and secure additional resources. This collaboration will support methanol-based manufacturers in surrounding regions by diversifying supply channels, reducing logistics costs, speeding up delivery, and enhancing supply chain security and efficiency, thereby fostering new growth in the regional methanol downstream industry.
From now on, both parties will further synergize their operations to enhance overall efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen competitiveness in the supply chain. They aim to deliver more comprehensive and efficient supply chain services for manufacturing clients, create a dynamic and accessible trading environment for trade partners, and jointly expand regional markets.
