Recently, with the solvent recovery tower smoothly positioned on the foundation platform, Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical successfully completed the hoisting of large-scale towers for the newly added middle gasoline solvent refining facility in the catalytic gasoline hydrogenation project. Previously, the side-cut stripper and extractive distillation column had been safely hoisted into place one after another. So far, the hoisting of all three core out-of-gauge towers has been completed. This marked the project’s full transition into the final stage of process piping and electrical instrument installation, laying a solid foundation for its timely completion and commissioning. The solvent recovery tower hoisted this time has a top elevation of 41.45 meters and weighs 90 tons. Facing challenges such as a complex construction environment and limited site space, Sinochem Energy's Engineering Project Center organized the construction team and supervision unit to conduct multiple rounds of demonstration and optimization of the hoisting plan. Thanks to the close collaboration and deployment of all parties involved, the entire process from lifting to precise positioning of the tower took only 25 minutes. The efficient completion of the hoisting task fully demonstrated the technical strength and execution capability of the project team.
