On June 28, 2025, Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical successfully completed the upgrade and transformation of the unattended operation module in the MES system. A brand-new unattended operation system officially went live, marking a significant step forward in the company's digital transformation of measurement management and injecting strong momentum into building a modern smart factory.
Initiated in 2024, the upgrade and transformation project for the unattended operation system follows a dual-drive strategy of “hardware foundation and software empowerment” to drive innovation. At the hardware level, the company upgraded and replaced key equipment such as existing servers, self-service terminals, and barrier gates, significantly enhancing system operational stability, effectively reducing equipment failure rates, and lowering maintenance costs. The software system focused on strengthening anti-cheating functionalities, establishing a fully intelligent management model that covers “unattended weighbridge operations, driver self-service weighing, and unified remote centralized control room management”. During the project implementation, operations and maintenance personnel were proactively engaged to ensure a solid foundation for the subsequent high-quality and stable system operation.
The new system enables real-time collection of weighing data and early warnings in case of abnormalities, thereby eliminating cheating risks from a technical standpoint and effectively safeguarding the company’s economic interests. Drivers can complete self-service weighing through human-machine interaction terminals, making the entire process more efficient and convenient. This can enhance the efficiency of truck scale measurement management in an all-round manner.
