On May 30, 2025, the first shipment of 29.16 tons of methyl methacrylate (MMA) products was successfully transported out of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical's factory by truck, marking the full integration of production and sales for the company's acrylonitrile project, which has an annual production capacity of 260,000 tons.

Following the successful commissioning of the project, Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical anticipates annual land transportation of approximately 59,800 tons of acrylonitrile, 7,800 tons of acetonitrile, and 35,400 tons of MMA. This will result in an additional cargo throughput of 287,800 tons, including the import of 57,800 tons of acetone raw materials and the export of 200,000 tons of acrylonitrile and 30,000 tons of MMA products. This will further strengthen the supply capacity and competitive edge of the regional petrochemical industry.
