Ms. Wu Yixian, born in February 1967, is a Chinese national with no permanent residency outside China. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Currently, she is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Head of the Department of Modern Macromolecules. Ms. Wu has been honored with the 12th China Youth Science and Technology Award, the 9th China Young Female Scientist Award, and the Second-Class National Technological Invention Award. In 2013, she was selected as a candidate for the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project in the New Century, and in 2022, she was included in the list of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Youth Talent Support Program.
